Applying for affordable housing usually means a stack of forms, a long list of documents, and no way to tell whether what you sent was right. This is not that.

You'll get an invitation

You can't sign up on your own — the housing organization running the program invites you. That link creates your account and opens your application.

Only your documents

Your answers decide the list. If nobody in your household is self-employed, you’ll never be asked for a business tax return. The list is for your household, not everyone's.

Take the time you need

Your progress saves. Come back over days or weeks as you gather paperwork — a pay stub this week, a bank statement the next — and pick up where you stopped.

You'll hear right away

If a document won't work — wrong year, a page missing, too blurry to read — you're told when you upload it, in plain language, not six weeks later in a letter.

Someone can help you

A family member or a caseworker can be given access to work on your application with you — filling it in, uploading documents, answering questions. You submit it yourself.

Texts are your choice

You can ask for text updates about your own application. You never have to, it’s never a condition of applying, and you can reply STOP at any time.
